On November 12-15, 2024, Kysuce will come alive with the ETNOFILM international documentary film festival. The Film Biennale of Documentary Ethnological Film will take place for the 23rd time and, in addition to competitive screenings focusing on diverse manifestations of traditional folk culture and the way of life of people in the world, it will also bring a number of accompanying activities and events intended for the general public. 100 documentary films have applied for the 23rd edition, 30 will be presented in the competition section. Members of the international jury from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary will decide which films will receive the highest awards of the 23rd edition of the ETNOFILM IFF.
ETNOFILM application = a guide for visitors to the ETNOFILM festival. It provides comprehensive information about the festival program, thereby simplifying access to current screenings and enabling viewers to better navigate a wide range of documentaries focused on the cultures, traditions and lifestyles of various ethnic groups.
The ETNOFILM festival bulletin provides information about the festival, its program and individual films that are screened as part of the event. It contains a detailed overview of the competition images, their author teams, themes and cultural contexts that are processed in them. The bulletin also presents accompanying events and other interesting things connected with the festival.
