24th ETNOFILM International Film Festival - November 23-27, 2026
Do you have a documentary that reveals fascinating culture, traditions or the lives of people on the margins of society? Join the celebration of diversity and submit your film to the 24th ETNOFILM International Film Festival - a festival that has been bringing unique stories from around the world for decades.

Due to the current organisational and financial circumstances, the 24th edition of the ETNOFILM International Documentary Film Festival will take place mainly online. Public screenings of selected films will also be held in Čadca.

What can the story of a person from another country reveal to us? How are traditions preserved in a rapidly changing world? And what brings us together despite our differences?

The 24th edition of the ETNOFILM International Film Festival offers answers to these questions. Audiences can look forward to documentary films that explore the diversity of human society, traditional folk culture, the values that shape our lives, intergenerational experiences, and the stories of people whose voices often remain on the margins of public attention.

Dear film enthusiasts, in 2026 we look forward to the next - already the 24th - year of the International Film Festival ETNOFILM 2026. We will follow these propositions Rules_and_Regulations_IFF_Etnofilm_Čadca_2026.pdf
