"Through the eyes of Milan Rastislav Štefánik" - November 8 - 11, 2022 in the Kysucke Museum
Part of the estate of Milan Rastislav Štefánik in the Slovak National Museum in Martin is also a rich collection of negatives. They are images from the countries that M.R. Štefánik visited - Europe, America, Africa, Central Asia, the Pacific. Almost all the journeys he made until the beginning of the First World War were related to his scientific ambitions as an astronomer, and according to Marian Pauer, they were "...journeys to the stars".
The international film festival ETNOFILM ČADCA ranks among documentary ethnological festivals offering films on topics from the field of social and cultural anthropology, from diverse expressions of traditional folk culture to mapping the life of contemporary people.

The largest film festival of documentary films ETNOFILM Čadca will bring exceptional film experiences from the 20th year of the film biennial to SMER KLUBU 77 in Žilina. Since October, film fans can look forward to a collection of documentaries that won the highest awards of the International Film Festival ETNOFILM Čadca 2020.
