The year 2024 will go down in the history of the Etnofilm Čadca IFF as its 23rd year. Every two years since 1980, filmmakers from all over the world have been competing for the turoň prize, which is the festival's logo. Viewers can thus watch the latest work of filmmakers in the field of documentary film. Submission of films for this edition will end on May 31, 2024.
23. MFF ETNOFILM
The 23rd edition of the ETNOFILM International Film Festival will take place on November 12-15, 2024. You can find the terms and conditions of participation in the competition and application requirements in the STATUS section
24th ETNOFILM 2026 in an adapted format
Due to the current organisational and financial circumstances, the 24th edition of the ETNOFILM International Documentary Film Festival will take place mainly online. Public screenings of selected films will also be held in Čadca.
