for cooperation, support and friendliness in the realization of the oldest film event in Slovakia. It is gratifying that together we managed to realize an event in the cities of Čadca, Kysucké Nové Mesto and Krásno nad Kysucou, which with its mission and intention contributes not only to the development of multicultural education but also to increasing the public's interest in getting to know and respecting different cultures, nations and people.
Thanks to all of us, the 22nd edition of the documentary film biennial was not only a place for film documentary screenings, but also a venue for professional seminars, exhibitions and other accompanying activities that increase its meaning and mission in the 21st century. We are convinced that the 22nd edition of the International Film Festival ETNOFILM ČADCA 2022 has begun to write its new history, and that it will contribute to the visibility of the Kysuce region and the Žilina self-governing region.
Since the ETHNOFILM ČADCA IFF is a film biennial, its 23rd year will take place in 2024. The members of the preparatory committee wish all documentary film makers and ethnography fans many creative ideas and inspiration in their work. See you in 2 years in Čadec at the 23rd ETHNOFILM 2024.
