The 24th International Film Biennale of Documentary Ethnological Film will take place 23. – 27. 11. 2026

International contest shall offer films with themes from the field of social and cultural anthropology and ethnology in a wide sense of the term, from various expressions of traditional folk culture up to the life of a present day man in the complexity and diversity of the changing world and the way of life.

23rd ETHNOFILM IFF: Discover the world of cultures and traditions

The 23rd ETNOFILM International Film Festival will take place on November 12-15, 2024 in the cities of Čadca, Žilina, Nitra, Banská Bystrica and Bratislava. 109 films from 35 countries applied for the current edition, of which the Festival Selection Committee included 29 films from 22 countries in the main competition.
