The 23rd International Film Festival ETNOFILM was held for the first time at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. This collaboration opened the door for a broad academic community to participate in screenings of documentary films focusing on traditions, cultures and the diversity of life in different parts of the world.

By combining the ETNOFILM festival with the academic environment of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, the event gained a new dimension that went beyond the traditional format of a film festival. UKF, as a significant educational institution, provided an ideal environment for connecting audiovisual art with academic discussions, making the festival not only a place of experiences, but also a platform for a deeper understanding of cultural phenomena. The initiative was a valuable step towards expanding the cultural scope of the festival. It enabled students and teachers to have direct contact with works that document different cultures, traditions and ways of life. The films drew attention to the need not only to preserve, but also to document the values of cultural heritage that are threatened by globalization and modern challenges.
