The documentary follows the fate of Greek children who came to post-war Czechoslovakia, where they were granted asylum. Some returned to Greece after some time, many of them found a new home in the new country and live there to this day. The director of the film, George Agathonikiadis, is one of these children, he lived in Czechoslovakia from the age of two, graduated from the Prague FAMU Film Academy, returned to Greece in 1983 and worked for Greek television.
