Do you know what kind of "duck" the young women in Csővár had on their heads? And what did it mean to go to church "under the wreath"? How many starched petticoats did brides wear in the tube house? 4-5-7-10? Csővár is a small Slovak settlement in Nógrád County. In a picturesque environment surrounded by hills and slopes, the ruins of a medieval castle preserve a village whose inhabitants have been driven for decades by the love and respect of their ancestors and the preservation of traditions. Women also play a very important role in passing down Slovak traditions. The Female Voice Choir was founded 22 years ago. The team has only one goal: to pass on what they inherited from their deceased Slovak ancestors.
