Did you know that in addition to the famous wedding, Ecser has another very nice landmark, the so-called Love Stream? But it is like that. And the ancestors of the Slovak girls and women in Ecser used to wash in the water of this stream every Good Friday so that they would be healthy and beautiful all year round. Times changed and traditions were slowly forgotten... Until one of the grandmothers told her grandson András Csab Aszódi, head of the Zelený veniec Dance Ensemble and the Slovak minority self-government Ecser, how nice it would be to turn the wheel of time back. And so it was. The young dancers cleaned the stream, built a bridge over it, built steps into the water as an exhalation, and every Good Friday they wait for interested parties, looking for purification and spiritual refreshment.
