The 24th International Film Biennale of Documentary Ethnological Film will take place 23. – 27. 11. 2026

Given current organizational and financial constraints, the 24th edition of the ETNOFILM International Film Festival will take place primarily online. Public screenings of selected films will also be held in Čadca.

The ETNOFILM International Film Festival will take place from November 23 to 27, 2026. Its 24th edition will offer audiences the opportunity to watch selected competition documentaries online via the website www.etnofilm.sk.

Sixty-four films from around the world were submitted to the competition; from these, the selection committee chose 22 films to be evaluated by international and student juries.

We are happy to present you the new theme song of the International Film Festival ETHNOFILM Čadca 2024, which is a celebration of the richness of cultural heritage and authentic stories from different corners of the world.
