The 16th Etnofilm   Cadca, which is scheduled to take place from  29 September to 2 October  2010 in  Cadca,  Slovakia, has launched its call for entries.

Documentary films devoted to ethnology, social and cultural anthropology in a wide sense of the term can be submitted.

The films for pre-selection on  DVD together with the  signed entry form and a list of dialogues should be submitted by 30th April 2010.

The  pre-selection jury  decides which films  are accepted to enter the festival competition. 
Every applicant  shall be informed about its decisions  no later than 31 July 2010.

The  documentary films in competition shall compete to win the following awards:

Matica slovenská Award
„Ethnologist Behind Camera“
The Best Czech Film  Award
Award of the Festival Director
Award of the Mayor of Cadca
